A client reached out the other day.

He was doing some work in the States. He needed to get paid by a US company. They tried sending the Dollars from his client's US bank to his South African bank.

His exact words to me were: "It's asking for too many things."

He asked me to help him get his USDT wallet address on his 80eight app instead.

The money was in his wallet moments later.

Look, if you're a business operating globally or a digital nomad working with international clients and you're based in South Africa, using stablecoins to get paid or do payments is literally a no-brainer.

Speed and cost are dramatically lower than bank-to-bank transfers for USD payments.

The traditional system still works like you're mailing a check across continents. Stablecoins work like money should in 2026.

It's the most obvious business choice.

If you're still doing this the old way, I am genuinely curious to what's holding you back?

Best,
Chaz
